He has 15+ Years of consulting-experience with public-sector clients at all-levels of Government in Canada, and was part of the City of Toronto’s Open Data Advisory Group which helped define the City’s first official Open Data Master Plan in 2018. Expensive real estate prices and high occupancy rates have made it difficult for Torontonians to find a place to live.
To combat this reality, Mayor Tory has tasked staff to find a way to speed up the approval process with the goal of building 40,000 new, affordable-rental units in the next 12 years. The first wave of proposed redevelopment of 11 city-owned sites is called “Housing Now”.
